How does it work?

Controlice^® Oil Spray contains active ingredients such as coconut, aniseed and ylang-ylang oils. The active ingredients work in a 15 minute application, killing live head lice by physically suffocating the lice to death.*

How to use Controlice^® Oil Spray

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.

Use only as directed. Keep away from open flames.
Adults and children 2 years and older:

1. Test for sensitivity on the inside of the forearm.
2. Apply to dry hair.
3. Hold the spray bottle in a vertical position and spray the Controlice® Oil Spray to cover hair.
4. Ensure uniform distribution on hair and scalp (use fingers to assist with even distribution).
5. Leave the application on the hair for at least 15 minutes.
6. Comb hair thoroughly with a Controlice® Comb, area by area to remove all nits and dead head lice.
7. Comb from the base of the hair, as near to the scalp as possible, through to the hair tip.
8. Thereafter wash hair with Controlice® Defence Shampoo or normal shampoo.
9. Important: Repeat at least once more after 7 days, or earlier if necessary, to ensure the full life cycle of the lice are covered.

Controlice^® Head Rinse

Controlice^® Head Rinse is a non chemically acting treatment that contains ingredients that can help parents combat head lice infestations.* Comb through the hair and leave in for 8 hours.

How does it work?

Controlice^® Head Rinse contains 4 % Dimethicone which is not a chemically acting pesticide. It works by a physical process which effectively covers and drowns the lice.*

How to use Controlice^® Head Rinse

Controlice^® Head Rinse is easy to use and requires an 8 hour application.

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.

Use only as directed. Keep away from open flames.
Adults and children 1 year and older:

1. Test for sensitivity on the inside of the forearm.
2. Apply sufficient solution to dry hair and spread evenly from the roots to the tips.
3. Ensure scalp and hair is fully covered.
4. Comb hair thoroughly with a Controlice® Comb, area by area.
5. Comb from the base of the hair, as near to the scalp as possible, through to the hair tip to remove all nits (eggs).
6. Allow hair to dry naturally. Leave on the hair for at least 8 hours or overnight while sleeping.
7. Thereafter wash hair with Controlice® Defence Shampoo or normal shampoo.
8. Important: Repeat at least once more after 7 days (or earlier if necessary) to ensure the full life-cycle of the lice is covered.

Controlice^® Lice Comb

The Controlice^® Lice Comb is especially suited for short and/or straight hair. The Controlice^® Lice Comb allows for smooth and more efficient removal of nits.* To make it easier to detect lice and their nits, use the handy magnifying glass that comes with the comb. Combing out the lice and nits is a very important part of the treatment process.

How to use Controlice^® Defence Shampoo

Use only as directed. Keep away from open flames.

1. Test for sensitivity on the inside of the forearm.
2. Use Controlice® Defence Shampoo to cleanse hair or during a lice outbreak, to repel head lice.
3. Wet the hair.
4. Apply shampoo and work into a lather.
5. Leave on for 3-5 minutes.
6. Rinse off. Repeat if required.
7. Style hair as normal.
For daily use.
